“Don’t worry. Your secret is safe with me.”
“What secret?” I ask, even as I know I’m falling right into his snare.
“That you like me, too.”
this was such a fun book! it has strong romcom vibes and god I just enjoyed it so much.
the ramen scene? it was fucking hilarious–the whole book manages to be funny without being too clingy. (the disappeared chair? probably my favorite part of the whole book)
maybe I felt as if the solution was too.. fast and easy? too convenient, perhaps, but still.
oh, and it just have me strong millennial vibes (the whole tossing around fresbie or the board with gandalf vs dumbledore, but hey I rather have that than a soulless capitalist system any day, also just let people be happy.)
both characters were relatable to some point–and the expectations their family had on them just hit so hard. you could also feel the tension ugh it was good. hate with love it's definitely one of my fav troupes lol.
anyway, I liked it, I truly enjoyed it.
