I enjoyed this immensely. There were parts that were hard to read, but I suppose that's to be expected with pressing social issues. All together, though, it wasn't nearly as sad as I was expecting. It had quite a lot of moments that made me laugh out loud. I wasn't sure exactly what to expect from it going in, but ultimately it ended up being a book about hope, which I could appreciate on a few different levels.
