The Legend of Zelda, Vol. 3: Majora's Mask by Akira Himekawa
3.0
A nice, albeit somewhat hurried and overly condensed adaptation of the video game cult-classic. The art style is excellent and does good justice to the style of the original game. The game is, by its time-traveling, repetitive nature, a hard thing to adapt for a linear narrative, but the two artists behind this adaptation have done a good job, although some conspicuous «shortcuts» have been made in the process. The «original side story» at the end of the book deserves a special mention. It is totally separate from the main narrative, but a fascinating little ditty in its own right. All in all, a nice adaptation, albeit at some remove from the original game. And hey -- listen! Link speaks (!)
