This is the first book from Jay Hogan and even though I hadn’t listened to the previous book it didn’t affect my listening. Liam moves into the cottage on the farm so he can help Jules dad who is recovering from a stroke. Jules has been confused with his sexuality for years but after his brother Zach came out and was cut off by his homophobic father he decides to stay quiet. When he meets Liam things change and Jules realises he wants Liam but he’s scared of being found out but as they grow closer Jules decides it’s time he told his father and if he can’t accept it he’ll walk away from his legacy. I really enjoyed listening most the characters were great and the banter between the shepherds was funny at times and Gary Furlong did an awesome job narrating.
