Life of Pi by Yann Martel

3.0

Honestly, I think the movie’s version is so much better than the book’s . I don’t think it’s necessary to write the whole story in 100 chapters and I couldn’t see why these chapters are needed in themselves in the end. However, this is still a good book with extraordinary plot and perfectly well-written words. I’m an irreligious but I do believe in different religions as they’re real without science’s proof. That’s why I think the author succeeded in making me feel empathy for Pi at the book’s first pages. Also, the author’s zoological knowledge is so admirable.
