This was so cute and heart warming. I may be a little biased - penguins are my absolute favorite.

Oh to be a little penguin, waddling around on the ice. And to be a lucky scientist, studying them every day! This was a very wholesome found family story with sprinkles of penguins facts. Honestly the most perfect book for me.

For those that are not die hard penguin fanatics like myself, this book is till very cute. Veronica is funny and strong willed. I'm glad the cold finally made her peel back all those hard layers and open her heart up again.

I was rooting for Patrick the whole time. He just seemed so nice and had a string a bad luck. He was kind hearted and meant so well. I'm glad he got the happy ending he deserved.

I wish I could raise a little penguin baby. I would love to watch them grow and eat fish and then swim off into the wild with the rest of the group! Oh well, guess I'll have to wait until I'm in my 80's to crash a research site.

The epilogue had no business being that emotional.
