This was a twist on the werewolf story, in the fact that it is embraced in this society and we can see a blend of humanity and folk lore to make up the background for the species. The author has managed to successfully write a storyline which instead of this being a curse it is now being used as a blessing. I enjoyed the storyline in this novel however it was the characters which made it for me. They were very dynamic  and adaptable to the changes in the plot. We watch as this community develops and then comes under attack. I would love to see more from this world and can not wait to see what comes from the author next.
