This book was not what I expected it to be. Starting out I thought that Lisa would have written a larger part of the book; however the story from Patrick's point of view makes it a tremendous read! I bought this book recently (almost three years after Patrick's death) and I found myself completely captivated by his ability to rise above whatever lay before him. The story is bitter sweet and there were several points in the book, that I found myself crying due to the content. Patrick was a gifted actor and I have always been a huge Roadhouse fan. This book gives you insight into the life of this one of the greatest actor to ever live. Lisa and Patrick's struggles are enlightened and brought to the attention of those unaware. It's truly amazing and I highly recommend it to anyone who dreams of being an actor or is deeply in love. Words cannot describe how beautiful this book really is.
