I absolutely loved this!! I'm currently dealing with debilitating anxiety, just like Rhys was and it was the first time reading a character like this. Due to my anxiety, when I'm reading I literally start feeling the characters feeling deep. So when he started to talk about his anxiety and when he had a panic attack I almost thought I wouldn't be able to read it. But I continued and it was actually so therapeutic for me. Reading someone get through their anxiety inspired me that I'll get through it too. Rhys was a beautiful character with such a sweet heart. There are too many mmc who just use women and truly don't respect them (until that ONE comes along🙄) so it was refreshing to read a man who wasn't a womanizer. He had parents that were utterly in love (I want to read their story!!!! Please write it!) so he reflected what he saw growing up. Sadie was a strong character, doing what she needed to do to take care of her brothers. This was just written so well, and was so accurate to the kids' feelings dealing with absent/alcoholic parents and the older sister taking care of everyone but herself. She found someone to take care of her and defend her, something she's never had. It was such a good romance story and I'm excited to read more from this author when she releases future books. Also the spice was great! I always say that a good book won't need a lot/graphic spice to make it enjoyable. This is one of them. Spice 3/5🌶
