“Though bloodlines among the people were usually considered in regard to marriage, if the Prophet directed it, it was believed God would honor the union. Biological and scientific issues would not come to pass as long as the couple had “enough faith.”
QUICK RECAP 🖊️
Rebecca rehashes her life growing up and escaping FLDS and the part she took in helping bring some big names to justice.
FINAL THOUGHTS 💭
It took me almost all month to read this book, there’s times where I had to leave it for a couple days at a time. Rebecca’s story is heartbreaking and disturbing but so inspirational seeing her escape what was her reality for so so long.
