sooo… i liked the idea of the book and the world in it. i sympathized with fmc maybe a bit too much. but i really didn’t like mmc. he manipulated and gaslighted fmc for 90% of the book. at the end after he broke her heart with “break up” trope, his mommy went to fmc and asked her to come back to her son bc he was hurting.
