3.5 stars! This is a pretty good read! It is in list format, and I expected it to be a bit more of a flowing narrative, so just be prepared for that if you're picking it up. Covers great ground in discussing women who shaped this genre. A very good pickup for anyone interested in horror and looking for recs - they do a good job giving you a taste of what to expect from each author they recommend without giving the plots away. It's not exactly a heartstopping book you need to pick up over and over again, but a good and informative intro!
