The Well of Ascension by Brandon Sanderson

5.0

As always, Sanderson delivers such a banging show in the last 200-100 pages of his book that it barely matters what came before! However, what came before is in this instance also fantastic. It might help that it is my second time reading this story, so I'm already locked in and invested in all the characters' stories. Still, I find Sanderson's storytelling to be such a magical thing. The story might at times feel slow, but it never feels boring, and that makes all the difference to me. I am both dreading and excited to reread the last book in the original Mistborn trilogy now.
