Raven Black by Ann Cleeves

3.75

Love the show, for better or worse, and needed a mystery over the holidays. I remembered what happened here, but it was different in the adaptation, as were some of the central characters. Writing was a bit sparse but in a way that suited the story and setting. Rushed ending, but different enough from the show - and certainly competent enough - to be a worthwhile read.
