The story follows Teagan as she takes on the role of swamp witch in Firewater Springs. It seamlessly weaves her thoughts with each character she encounters and you can feel each of her emotions as she struggles to find her way. I found myself rooting for her as she made difficult decisions and feeling heartache as she encountered it. If you enjoyed The Mortal Instruments series, this is the perfect book for you.
