Pestilence by Laura Thalassa
5.0
What an amazing read.....
It starts off when Sarah stays behind to kill Pestilence (who cannot die). He then takes her as his prisoner and they end up falling in love, but this isn't really a romantic story, its more about love despite everything, how far are you willing to go for it and how much can one person endure for their soulmate.
The writer is truly talented, how she gets such emotions out of the reader considering what Pestilence is doing is unforgivable, i will be honest i after about 30% percent in i was thinking there is nothing the writer can do to make me feel any compassion for this guy..... I was wrong.
This book had me in tears, for humanity for Sara and even for Pestilence, Each character and each imprint each character made on the story and the main couple was heart-wrenching.
Laura Thalassa weaves such intricate emotions in this story, Watching as Sara and Pestilence draw closer together as a deeper understanding of one another unfolds, leading to an incredibly passionate raw love for each other that is far from perfect.
Its a one of a kind book for me, and the writing itself is beautiful, I don't think my review can do it justice.
