honestly this was like...fine. some moments made me smile, one moment i really hated. like of course i party enjoyed it because i love feyre and rhys and the whole inner circle but it really was nothing special, gave nothing about the new series and honestly i just read it because i felt obligated and it was short so it knocks another book off my reading challenge. i’m still excited for the nessian series i guess but this offers no insight into that at all so there’s kind of no point except that it’s a glorified christmas au fanfic. so like...yeah idk everything post acomaf in this series has been not as good as acomaf so like...yeah. anyways this was fine i just needed to knock it off my tbr and maybe cure my post crescent city reading slump
