This installment of the series was just fine for me. While I still love the shenanigans these characters get up to, I just didn't find this pair as charming as the others. Parts of their relationship felt forced at times, and I just didn't find the "Pictionary" scene as funny as I think it was meant to be. It was another thing that came across as a little forced.
I like the fake dating trope though, but it did move to "I Love You" kind of fast, even with the context of their friendship beforehand. But I guess that is par for the course with Romance books, maybe I should stick to slow-burn romance.
