This mini series follows Hal Jordan as he struggles to fight against Parallax who is attempting to corrupt the Green Lantern rings. Hal also must deal with the Spectre. The other Lantern's and the Justice League's trust in Hal is tested as his personality is influenced by the Spectre and Parallax's corruption. I appreciated that each Lantern had time within the story to show their insecurities as well as their strengths. Each of them has known Hal to a different extent and they each want to have faith in their friend's strength and willpower. Kyle is able to meet Hal for the first time and Hal's immediate respect for everything Kyle did to try and save everyone shows the camaraderie between them. A great limited series overall.
