The shock does Jennifer enough but then we add in he's had an affair with another woman and has a child with her furthermore she owns Jennifer's house. Here start a complicated relationship of both ladies living together with their children.

Sara and Rory are taking over the house. Sara had been supplementing this family's lifestyle with her inheritance.

Jennifer's little girl Sylvie has taken to Rory as she always likes helping and looking after others. Whereas Miller Jennifer's old son is extremely hostile towards Sara and her son. Staying shut away in his bedroom most of the time.


The ending well was an unexpected twist for me. Well-written book with a shocking ending.
