The Promised Neverland, Vol. 20 by Posuka Demizu, Kaiu Shirai

4.0

With the series finally at a close, everything that was promised was delivered with an emotional wallop. It perfectly closes on the narrative threads that have long shaped the series, a conclusive statement that has still resonated with me up to now. All in all, it has taught me that we are all doing our utmost best in this life, to preserve that thing that is most precious to us, to seek a resolution that would finally leave us at peace with ourselves. With a significant gap in time from my completion of the previous volume, I was surprised that this still holds up as much as it did. This has now left me in a state of curiosity on how much I could have gathered from this had I read the entire series in a continuous stream.
