I am bummed because I was excited to pick this up, but I am not caring about anything or anyone at all. As a result, I'm not retaining information and just realized that I finished an entire chapter without paying almost any attention to it. At this point, I worry I'm about to enter a reading slump if I force myself to keep going, and because The Year of the Witching was only a 3.5-star read for me, I just don't feel motivated enough to push through.

I may pick it up again in the future because maybe I'm just not in the mood for this right now, especially if it seems like people with similar reading tastes to me are enjoying it.
