Brilliant murder mystery with lots of moving parts set in a complex fantasy world with great characters.
I absolutely adored Din, resident bisexual disaster, and Ana, the incredibly stange but ingenious (and funny!) investigator! The world building was very well done and while it took me a bit to understand how it worked, I was always intrigued and entertained.
I had trouble putting this book down, the audiobook narration was great, and I'm so delighted to discover there's a sequel out next year. I can't wait for more of Din and Ana's adventures.
