I am loving this series. While this particular book didn't have as much "action" as it was a continuation of book 4, it was still enjoyable. There where a few things I found odd considering the books are based in Canada, like the use pennies and dollar bills (Nans gambling ring) and Doreen putting on shoes in the middle of the night to investigate a sound she heard in the house, while these things are tiny, they just don't fit in a Canadian book.
