It was alright overall but the middle part is kind of a bore. I struggled to finish this and I have to agree with the other reviewers about how this book demand strict attention to detail. For someone who have vague understanding of Tudor history, this is indeed a struggle. But perhaps this book would have greater value for Tudor history fans.

On the bright side though, now i want to read more about Thomas Cromwell. I am looking forward to procuring Thomas Cromwell: A Life.
