I have no idea why I’ve not read this book until now but I absolutely devoured this one! I love a boarding school setting and Morton Academy had it all: a school for the intelligent (not only those who are privileged), common rooms, a huge library, a secret society… oh, and multiple murders! The inclusion of a local cult in the mix was also great (who doesn’t love a cult?). The characters are really well written and the plot was SO good. I was absolutely hooked and was 100% certain I had nailed who the killer was by the halfway point and increased in confidence as the book went on only to be entirely wrong - in the best way!! Definitely recommend for a quick, action packed read!
