Theres a big difference between liking a book and loving a book :)

Story : This is a story about a man who is truly a phoenix...reborn by fire and in this rebirth he finds true love. This is not the conventional type of love, it's quite the opposite. This story blends reality with stories from the past, from different regions of the world but they were all about love.

Characters : So we have two leads, the phoenix (as I call him) and Marianne Engel. One was burned in a horrible accident and lived a very empty life until miss Marianne came into his life (possibly, again...depending on what you think) I have zero complains about character development because this book was about them and their development over time, over real time and fictional time. Their love was beautiful , odd but beautiful. He didn't even have a penis but she still loved him :3

Final Words : Throughout the book, I was wondering if what she was saying was true or not but by the end, I didn't care anymore and I don't think anyone should , because regardless if she somehow survived thousands of years or if she was crazy, she changed his life and this book impacted mine :)
