sister’s ex + football!

Ava is working for the Washington wolves PR department. When who should be the newest hire but her sister‘s ex fiancé. Matthew just wants to play a few more years. After his fiancé cheated on him and he divorced his wife, he makes Washington his new home. Ava has had a crush on Matthew for years but now there’s another line she can’t cross since they work together. But of course they cross the line. A few times. But is this relationship one the Ava can get past the hurts of her family and embrace Matthew?

Right off the bat I did not like Ava’s family. But I wholeheartedly think that Ava and Matthew deserved each other. I love the way that Matthew forced Ava to really decide what she wanted in her life. And to stand strong in saying what made her happy. Matthew was really the one wanting to take their relationship out in the open but Ava was hesitant. I loved the misunderstanding/drama with Logan, Ava, and Matthew. Yes it made their heartbreak but it was also too funny seeing Logan uncomfortable and Ava putting him in his place later.
