The only way to describe this book is gut wrenching.
It was so painful to listen to but so entrapping that I couldn't stop. In some places it seems so unrealistic, like a Brothers Grimm story brought to life in Idaho. I feel so deeply for Tara and the physical/emotional trauma she suffered. Tara is an inspiration, she overcame so much, and recently. That is the hardest part to digest, that this was taking place 10-15 years ago. It makes you sick to your stomach to hear and read but a crucial fact that you need to understand in order to prevent things like this occurring again.
