The Geek Who Saved Christmas by Annabeth Albert
5.0
Annabeth Albert is the official master of holiday fluff. I bow down. This was THE cutest Christmas romance. I loved it!
Paul Frost. Gideon Holiday. Two 40-something cinnamon rolls. Grumpy/sunshine. Neighbors (and not quite enemies but not exactly friends) to lovers. A Bernese Mountain dog. (Her name is Jim.) Christmas galore.
It was so freaking cute but never ventured into ridiculousness. Albert took what could easily have been a cutesy, superficial story and created something with a lot of emotion and depth.
Another thing I liked was that both MCs were well past young adulthood and first relationships. It’s just not often you get a romance about two people past 40 (and as SPICY as this one, to boot). So yayy for the over 40s!
