This was 4.5 until the ending. More mystery than sci Fi, but not WITHOUT sci fi - the mystery had me guessing throughout and i gasped irl more than once. I guessed the twists but the payoff was worth it. Pacing was exceptional - one of the best thrillers I've ever read and maybe the only one I would ever read again.
