I'm not sure how I feel about this one.

I loved that it was told through the perspective of the child. However, I kept forgetting how old she was. I believe she's 8, but she felt much younger throughout. Maybe I'm expecting too much from an 8 year old brain, but I thought it felt too young at times.

I was having a good time with this until the end. The ending really fell flat for me. It wasn't shocking or surprising. It ended as I expected. It just felt anti-climactic and abrupt.

The mom was about as unlikable as they come. I don't mind unlikable characters, but man did I just want her to leave.
Like could she be any more selfish? It's all about her and her issues and her affair and how SHE feels. I do not care that you're fraught with distress over possibly causing your daughter to be haunted by a demonic entity because of your affair.
