Calm: Working through life's daily stresses to find a peaceful centre by Fearne Cotton
4.0
I was kindly gifted ‘Calm’ for Christmas from my beautiful Mam, as she remembered just how much I enjoyed Fearne previous book ‘Happy’. This sequel absolutely did not disappoint.
This book series is ultimately self-help/ memoir, which I think works perfectly. The power of sharing personal experiences is very underrated, and it is very helpful to know that the tasks Fearne suggests throughout the book are tried & tested by HER.
Her chatty style of writing takes relaxation through reading to a whole new level, like having a craic with a good friend (& who doesn’t need more of that right now).
I particularly enjoyed the paragraphs about keeping CALM at work, CALM friends and CALM family. The lessons from this book are accessible & hugely valuable.
