Delilah Green Doesn't Care by Ashley Herring Blake

5.0

I am not a romance reader. Nor am I a reader that gives cheesy romance rom com books 5 stars. Yet here we are, and I blame it on Ashley Herring Blake’s wonderfully constructed characters: Delilah and Claire. Because WOW. I can rarely even begin to say characters have chemistry, even characters whose relationships I like! But these two? I was knocked OUT by the sheer power of their on-page chemistry. It was insane.

This was absolutely wonderful. It was about healing and loving and growing and was such a delight that I devoured it in less than 24 hours. I’ve also got to give props to all the brown-eye love there was in this book, because hell yes Claire! Your brown eyes ARE sexy!

My only complaint? The word undulate was used way too many times for my liking. I am writing this note down after reading it for the second time. Dear god, please don’t let there be more. (It was in there FOUR TIMES. I counted.)
