Grace and Fury by Tracy Banghart

3.0

This book has no depth. My sister's retelling of her dreams has more worldbuilding than this book.

The two sister's POVs are virtually indistinguishable for more than half of the book. Nomi's head is so far up her ass that it's a wonder she hasn't fallen off a balcony yet. This girl is *so* dumb and her decision making skills made me want to bash my head into a wall.

The love interests, hoo boy. Malachi is greige personified, Asa is so predictable - it's insulting and Val.... just happens to be less boring but not any better written than the other two.

This book's synopsis says its for fans of The Selection , The Hunger Games and The Handmaid's Tale. In reality, it's just cherry picking plot devices from each story to mediocre results.

Yet, for some bizarre reason, I couldn't stop reading and I actually want to read the sequel.
