Definitely interesting in seeing how things play out from this regarding Griffith and all the demon stuff we know happens to Guts (and Griffith, and presumably others). Got a nice look at some dead bodies with that sacrifice symbol on them, got some funky stuff with Griffith and the necklace. Feels like a lot of set up and such for future shenanigans.

Future shenanigans being set up for sure - the lore of the Skull King and the five - no four - angels who brought him down is very interesting and feels *relevant* although I am not well-versed enough in Berserk lore and my memory of most of this is vague at best.

The way that Griffith kept himself alive by thinking about Guts and then managed to hug him when Guts came and then Guts went ... berserk and killed all those guards and Griffith is jealous of Guts and Casca being in a relationship aahh it's simply so tasty and angsty.
