loved it. gruesome at parts, but the whole thing was exactly what I was hoping for when I plucked it off the library shelf. adventure, magic, sisters, secrets, a mystery, bonus Antarctica content????, herbs, women doing 92% of the interesting things in the story. chef's kiss.
