I know this is meant to be a trilogy, but until the last third of the book, I wondered if a sequel was necessary.

This was a good book, definitely. But while the first book explored the complexities of the Paper Girls, this book was more directly political.

The final act sold me on the trilogy. I can’t wait for book 3.
