Luna is short for mi luna. My moon. Because no matter how dark the nights got, you were always there, shining so brightly that I always found my way through.”
so close to give this one star, but it wasn't actually terrible.
I liked sloane and xavier, I could even relate to him with all the fears of failure and not wanting to even try because of it. sloane also was such a good character! her whole journey was nice to read and I definitely got to love her and wanting them both to be happy.
but.. them as a couple? didn't do it for me. I don't know why to be honest, but I just didn't care. I loved their platonic connection, how they totally understood and helped each other but the romance lacked.. something, I'm not sure what. it got to the point I wanted to skip every romance scene–including 🌶️, I genuinely didn't care and just wanted to get over with the book.
I don't know what's happening with ana, somehow her books are starting to not liking, and it's sad considering I used to give them 4 and 5 stars.
still, I'll probably read the next ones, because as I said I have no hate for them, I still have hope I might end up liking one.
