I really enjoyed this first book in a new mystery series! I liked how the historical mystery was entertained with the contemporary mystery. it was pretty much everything you want in a cozy mystery, right down to the lovable/ heroic dog...plus ghosts. I did figure out who both murderers were, which is unusual for me. I loved the setting, but could have done with more descriptions of the locale. I'm excited to read the next book!!
