If you had told me that I would love a book about monks, cathedrals, master builders set in a medieval time period, I would have laughed. Add that it is almost 1000 pages? No way. However, this book is EPIC! So many amazing characters, plots twists, love stories, strong women, good guys, bad guys, adventure, and so much more! I'm very glad that our book club suggested this book, as it never would have crossed my path otherwise.
