The Last Time I Lied by Riley Sager
5.0
I loved Riley Sager's Final Girls, and I was hoping that I would not be disappointed in The Last Time I Lied. I am happy to say that I loved it!
I am on a kick with camp books right now, and I was so happy about the setting of this book. It's very atmospheric, and you can tell that there's something a little off about the camp.
Although it's a bit of a slow burn, this book was a page-turner for me because I was so excited to find out what happened. I didn't expect the final reveal coming, and that's always a gift since it doesn't happen enough for me anymore.
I loved this story, and I don't want to say much more about it so that I don't give anything away if. If you enjoyed the camp portion of Kill River, or the art portion of Providence, I highly recommend picking this up - parts of this book reminded me of both of those.
This book is very different from Final Girls, so whether you loved or hated that book, it's worth giving this one a shot! Thank you so much to Dutton for sending me a copy to review.
