Midnight Mass is a priest Novella that shows you what the leading couple from the Priest novel by Sierra Simone are up to a few years into their marriage.
After only giving the Priest three stars I didn't really have high hopes for this book but I was so wrong. I absolutely ADORED this book, honestly this book was so much better then Priest. All of the issues I had with Priest were fixed in this book, one of my main issues with the Priest book was a lack of connection with the characters and this book completely changed that for me, I felt like I was finally getting to know the characters and they were getting the character development they should have gotten in the first book. By the end of the first book I didn't really have an opinion on Poppy but by the end of this book I absolutely loved her.
The romance felt so much more developed in this book and I truly began to love them together as a couple. It was also nice seeing them go through problems that a lot of married couples go through and seeing them work through those issues in their marriage even though it broke my heart to read.
I'm so glad I didn't skip this book like I planned on and I feel like this book is a necessary read if you have read the Priest. It was such a nice and cute way to tie up the story between Tyler and Poppy even though it will make you ball your eyes out. This book adds some must-need aspects to the Priest book and I feel like it was needed to fully close their story.
Overall, this book was just as beautifully written as the book before it, and I absolutely LOVED this book!
