Not So Nice Guy by R.S. Grey

medium-paced

3.5

Me (shakes hand emoji) friends to lovers.

But wait there's more! They're also co-workers. The chemistry is palpable. They cross the friendship line pretty early on
in chapter 6
but it didn't feel rushed.

The romance is supported well by a friendship that feels grounded in reality. From sharing lunches and dinners to playing pranks and scheming together, it makes you root for the main couple even more.  Things get a little less believable in the second half of the book but it's fine if you suspend your disbelief a lil bit.

It's a nice rom-com that didn't reinvent the wheel but it did a solid job :)
