I love Vera and this series. I'm so glad that Cleeves continues to write new ones, especially since they do diverge from the tv series a bit. This book gives us another glimpse into Vera's family connections (or lack thereof) and we also get more development of Holly and Vera's rapport. Can't wait for the next one!
