Heart been broke so many times...

This cast of characters may just be my favorite from Cassandra Clare, yet. I love the inclusion of Jem, Tessa, and the TMI cast as well. Lady Midnight was such a perfect balance of plot and romance.

The plot threw me for a LOOP. All those twists and the little complex bits? Ugh, masterpieces. The world building in Lady Midnight is just immaculate.

Emma and Julian showed me love and then shattered my heart. Emma is such a headstrong, smart, and independent girl. I love her so much. As for my love Julian? He’s caring, responsible, and unyielding. His love for family is so heartwarming.

Overall, Lady Midnight is a fantastic start off to a new Shadowhunters series and I am stoked to start Lord of Shadows.
