I have been a fan of the Goode Brothers series since book one and Lucas was one of those brothers that I was looking forward to. I was far from disappointed with him!

This story revolves around Sadie Green, a student working at the club who dreams of someday running a club of her own, and Lucas Goode, a workaholic professor who is focused on landing his dream job. When Sadie ends up staying with Luke while pregnant with a man hoping to learn how to get her life together. Together, they deal with learning what’s important in their lives and figuring out what they really want for their future. 

Emotional and happy kicky-feet worthy, I quickly got through this book. Even knowing that there would be a happily ever after, I still found myself on edge during some of the more emotional scenes, desperate for them to work things out!! If you’re looking for a fun book where the characters grow and learn more about themselves, The Heartbreaker is for you. 

It also has the phrase “literary lothario” which was just hilarious so how can you say no to a book like that! Not an inaccurate phrase to describe Luke, but still hilarious !!
