a lot of this is just expanded stuff from the series, but it holds together really well, and the expansions are largely very funny! that being said, there’s some stuff that doesn’t quite sit right to me, like the level of darkness vis a vis bliss and btl, and some of the jokes are just incomprehensibly british, but overall a lot of fun! i recommend it to first timers and fans of the series! and it’s a nice quick read. of course, it does have a very unsatisfying ending, but the next book is good too as i recall
