i have come to really love lily chu’s writing and enjoy the experience of these audiobooks, but i wasn’t as invested in this romance as i wanted to be - i loved the beginning but didn’t find myself as interested in their story after the reveal of his secret; however, i loved ari’s individual plotline and seeing her navigate an identity that wasn’t defined by her work or by someone else
