so i’ve sat down to review this book a couple times and always got distracted and didn’t finish. but i gave it 3 stars because yes, i enjoyed it, but no i probably wouldn’t read it again. it was a cute YA thriller mystery that i probably would’ve enjoyed more as a teenager. but of course i did love the queer romance parts of it. that being said, the book felt a tad too dramatic for me and i can’t believe that Mila was murdered over cross country running and wanting to win. idk i love running but uh not murder or leave your teammate for dead much….definitely written for a younger audience.
